Our client in Mars Hill is currently seeking an individual with a Maine boiler operator’s license and 2+ years experience in a food processing environment to work as a Boiler Operator! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Apply today!

Location: Mars Hill, Maine
Compensation: $23.50 – 28.50 per hour + $2 shift differential
Schedule: 6p – 6a

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring and operating the high-pressure boiler and ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance
• Checking and maintaining the compressed air and water systems
• Conducting security checks of all doors and monitoring fire systems
• Adhering to safety protocols and being prepared to respond to emergencies

Here’s what you need to apply:

• Maine boiler operator’s license, 4th class SSE or higher preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a food processing environment
• Experience working with refrigeration systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
