Our client in Wells, a large state-run organization, is looking for an individual with grant accounting, payroll and forecasting experience to join them as an Accounting Clerk! This is a temporary opportunity. Interested? Apply today

Location: Wells, Maine
Compensation: $27.50 per hour, paid weekly
Schedule: M-F Days

What you’ll be doing:

• Performing fiscal year-end accounting, payroll accounting, and preparing payroll journal entries
• Managing grant accounting, including federal, state, private grants, and Title IV Federal financial aid
• Supporting the Director of Finance with financial forecasting and the annual budget process
• Handling fixed assets accounting and providing A/R collections support
• Working closely with payroll/human resources and using Paycom payroll software

Here’s what you need to apply:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Grant accounting, payroll and forecasting experience
• Attention to detail & accuracy
